    Most of the information provided in this site is based on information supplied by the Foundation and Telecom, including its partners.

    While every endeavour has been made to supply accurate information, errors and omissions may occur. Some sections on the site include feedback and comments supplied by users, which the Foundation does not have control of and these opinions do not necessarily represent the views of Telecom or the Telecom Foundation.

    Accordingly, the Foundation or Telecom does not accept any liability for any loss or damage which may directly or indirectly result from any advice, opinion, information, representation or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, contained on this site.

  • Telecom Foundation Account Guidelines & Site Communications

    This website provides authenticated user accounts for selected Telecom staff. If you believe you are entitled to have an account on this website as a Telecom staff member but have not been issued access, please contact us.

    The Foundation administrators and moderators reserve the right to remove any posts on this website that they deem to be inappropriate especially if they contradict the Code of Conduct. It is important that you agree to and are familiar with the Code of Conduct before posting comments on this website.

    The Foundation also reserves the right to remove or amend the account status, or the granting of any access, to individuals who they consider, in their sole discretion, are engaging in inappropriate activity, especially if activity contradicts the Code of Conduct.

  • Donation Policy

    As a New Zealand charity, we are registered with the Charities Commission (CC46342) and have donee organisation status which ensures that donations to the organisation are eligible for tax rebates.

    The Telecom Foundation accepts charitable donations in New Zealand dollars (NZD) by credit card on this website. When you make a donation by credit card, we are committed to protecting the security of your personal information, including credit card information. Payment Express (DPS) are our payment processors and your credit card information is protected through their hosted payment process which uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt your information during online transactions. The Telecom Foundation only has access to a portion of your card details to enable us to identify transactions. Details may be held by Payment Express (DPS) (please review their Privacy Policy).

    All online donations are issued an electronic receipt via email. If you have not received a copy of your receipt, please contact us.

    The Foundation will refund all donations made that are fraudulent due to unauthorised use of a credit card. In all other circumstances, refunds of donations will be at the discretion of the Foundation unless in the event of returning funds raised for a specific purpose that has not been fulfilled by the Foundation as agreed. In assessing whether refunds of online donations can be facilitated, the Foundation will determine whether the donation in question has already been applied to charitable purpose or whether it is available to be released back to the donor.

  • Privacy Policy

    The Foundation is committed to protecting the information of Telecom staff and the users of our website.
    We want to share stories about Telecom people and their generosity through activities like payroll giving and volunteering, however we recognise that these actions and choices are private and therefore we will always seek your express permission in order to share your individual personal information internally or externally. We may represent your information as part of an aggregate data set when talking about the results achieved by Telecom staff or the Foundation.

    For members of the public, we will not share the personal information you submit through the website with third parties unless it is to directly facilitate the purpose of your enquiry, e.g. regarding volunteering opportunities, text to donate applications etc. By completing the various forms on the Foundation website you agree to share your personal details with the Foundation and any other organisation or entity the Foundation may engage to meet your request.

    The Foundation will use internal Telecom communication processes to reach all staff via email. If you are a member of the public and no longer want to receive Foundation information to your email, please contact us here.

  • Conflict with other terms and conditions

    These terms and conditions apply to your use of this site. If there is any inconsistency between such additional terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, then the additional terms and conditions will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.
