Get involved
Telecom people
- On the 15th of July 2011, the Prime Minister John Key helped Telecom celebrate the launch of the Telecom Foundation and a range of initiatives for all Telecom employees across New Zealand. Here's how you can get involved:
-
Payroll donation
You can give to your favourite charity through 'Payroll Giving'. Get the tax benefit up front and have your donation matched by Telecom's $1,000,000 matched payroll giving fund.
Payroll Donating is only available to Telecom people!
-
Take a Volunteer Day
You get a paid day to work in the community each year through our volunteer scheme. This can be on an individual or team basis. If you need assistance to find a project, the Foundation can help you find a worthy project.
-
Are you on the board of a charity or school?
If you are on the Board of Trustees for your school, community group or registered charity you can apply for a 'Leadership Grant' of $1,000 for this organisation.
-
Kids Council
If you have a child who is 10-14 years of age, they can be a member of the Foundation's Kids' Council. This will give them a chance to have their say and influence the decisions of the Foundation.

Other ways to connect…
Register your project for volunteers
